persuasion in colbert report

The most interesting thing we talked about in class today was the Colbert Report segment. I enjoyed how overly exaggerated his persuasion techniques were with the cute animals, ideal enviroment, and all of the statistics and charts that people believe. I also liked the Time Magazine cover. I do think it is true that its vagueness draws people to read the article.
